Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information ONO Golf collects on this website, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We will handle your information as this policy says.
1. Information we collect

| Browse the site | Cookies: a login session cookie, and a site-access cookie after you enter the preview password. Your browser also stores preferences on your device (theme, language, favorites) that we do not receive. |
2. How we use it
- To run the site and the features you use — accounts, swing reviews, scorecards, bookings, and entries.
- To review Golf Ideas and contact you about yours. We use your email for that purpose only unless you separately join our newsletter.
- To keep the site secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
- To comply with the law.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
3. Who we share it with
- Service providers that host the site or deliver features for us (for example, generating spoken coach replies), only as needed to provide those services.
- Coaches you choose — if you send a swing for review or book a lesson, that coach sees what you send them.
- Legal reasons — if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or ONO Golf.
- Business transfers — if ONO Golf is involved in a merger or sale, your information may transfer under this policy.
4. Third-party content
Videos on this site play through YouTube’s embedded player, and maps load map tiles from third-party providers. When those load, the provider (for example, Google for YouTube) may collect information under its own privacy policy. We do not control those providers.
5. Do Not Track
Browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. This site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. We do not use third-party advertising trackers on our own pages.
6. Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Golf Idea submitters must confirm they are 13 or older. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. How long we keep it
We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed for the purposes above, then delete or de-identify it. Golf Ideas are kept so we can review them and honor any credit or agreement.
8. Your choices and rights
- Ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you.
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
- Ask us to remove your name from consultant credit.
Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have additional rights under state law. We will not discriminate against you for using them.
9. Security
We use reasonable safeguards — passwords are hashed, sessions use secure cookies, and access to stored ideas is limited to administrators. No system is perfectly secure.
10. Changes
We may update this policy and will change the effective date above when we do. Material changes will be posted on this page.
